The King Abdulaziz Public Library Celebrates Flag Day with an Art Exhibition in Collaboration with JUSFT
King Abdulaziz Public Library has inaugurated an art exhibition titled “In Love with Green,” in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts (Jusur), in the presence of the Library’s Director General, Dr. Bandar Al-Mubarak, and the Chairwoman of the Society’s Board of Directors, Dr. Hanaa Al-Shibli.
The exhibition is being held in celebration of Flag Day and as part of the cultural events and programs organized by the Library throughout 2026.
Held at the Library’s Services and Reading Halls Branch on Khurais Road in Riyadh, the exhibition features 20 works of visual art created in various styles and schools, including realism, symbolism, and naturalism. The works draw inspiration from the Saudi flag and its symbolism, as well as the Kingdom’s heritage and contemporary landscapes and sites. Through their creative interpretations, the artists express feelings of belonging and national pride, highlighting appreciation for Saudi identity and heritage on the one hand, while showcasing the aesthetics of visual art in interpreting reality through colors, shadows, and light, and using color masses to depict elements of life in the Kingdom and explore the beauty of nature and reality on the other.
The exhibition reflects the Library’s commitment to commemorating national occasions, strengthening cultural collaboration, and highlighting the role of visual arts in expressing national identity.
The exhibition welcomes visitors on March 10 and 11 at the Services and Reading Halls Branch on Khurais Road, from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.
